OntologyStream Capitalization

Long Version, Three Year Plan

Stock distribution is planned to be limited 1,000,000 shares (modified Feb. 2003)

July 21, 2002

In 2000- 2001 we built a working demonstration of a Peer-to-Peer architecture that clearly shows

This demonstration is illustrative of IP development.

However, at this point the Corporation has been shelved, frozen, because of capitalization difficulties.

There are some practical issues here:

1)        Capitalization of the development of the I-MH based engines is made based on good IP strategy.  Strong value propositions and ROI is based on the value of IP generated in work on the algorithms and data models that I-MH will manage.  Recently OSI has been considering the deployment of a niche CoreOne Engine (to be discussed only under non-disclosure agreement.)

2)        We see the initial capitalization as a future on the value of the total OSI IP production.

3)        IP production will result in a sharing of IP between the Corporation and independent innovators.

Given OSI capitalization, development teams will maintain creative freedom to think and produce original work that aligns itself to applications, while being assured their minimal financial needs will be met.  Management maintains consistent and dedicated finances to support the work of the development team.  These details will be outlined in a document drafted and agreed upon by the development team and management.

A new class of knowledge management technology will soon be integrated into the national commerce.  As this new wave develops OntologyStream will:

1)        Develop a patent protection methodology for knowledge technologies,

2)        Develop a conceptual map of the intellectual property in the emerging knowledge sciences

3)        Provide a Knowledge Sharing Foundation based on data regularity in context and optimal realization of classes of algorithms.

4)        Provide an management and contractual structure to compensate innovation implemented within the Knowledge Sharing Foundation (as formulated in January 2003)

5)        Develop a Knowledge Science curriculum to be used as part of Knowledge management certification programs

OntologyStream founders have worked on knowledge technology IP mapping for over a decade.  Our focus is on fundamental innovations that might properly displace players in the current e-Business space.  We are seeking investment to establish the social organization and economic proof of concept.

Pathways to Economic Benefits

OntologyStream has fundamental work on the various possibilities that come with a stratified technology for knowledge management.

The challenge of developing a stratified knowledge management technology has long been the dream of a number of scientists.  OntologyStream is the embodiment of this dream.  Social prestige will develop from our contributions to the scholarship on the new science of knowledge systems.

As communities of scientists and business innovators address the challenges framed by a stratified theory of knowledge management, there will be new ideas and innovations.  Most of the resulting intellectual property can be captured in the form of co-referenced patent disclosures, accompanied at the same time by public disclosure.  Due to the legal protection provided by patents, the community repository might come to "own" the E-Knowledge business ecosystem.

Advanced scholarship from general systems theory applies to a full understanding of the emergence of technology based on a stratified theory of knowledge management.  The technology of computational emergence and knowledge operating system will be the formative catalyst for several future communities of practice.  We also expect to contribute to Predictive Analysis and Anticipatory Mechanisms in support of the war effort.

Economic and Business Plan

Our business plan is quite simple.

The same community who created the notion of the BCNGroup created the OntologyStream.  The BCNGroup is a not for profit Corporation registered in the Commonwealth of Virginia in 1997.  The BCNGroup Charter governs the relationship be which a new science community is funded.
