National Knowledge Project

A few remarks regarding the National Project planning process, the opportunities at hand, and the barriers imposed by well meaning people.

An example of a syndromic pattern expressed mechanically is given at:

memetic science

What is the nature of this syndrome?

It is our judgment, that the nature is a complex issue that needs to be addressed by a new social science based on a deeper understanding of the biology of behavior and cognition.  This is a judgment of teachers, professors and scholars; not all of course, but some of us.

Again, I reflect on my work of a decade or so ago on learned disability in students in mathematics classes.  How does one explain why many freshman in college cannot learn how to add simple fractions, and can not come to understand the nature of mathematics?

The social scientists themselves can be the greatest barrier to the advancement of a new curriculum that would teach our children what science and moral philosophy can come to consensus on in a two year federally funded project to establish the knowledge sciences as an academic discipline.

Is such a program worth the requested level of funding; $60,000,000?

The second benefit of the National Project, in addition to a curriculum for K-12 and college, we would have ten - fifteen academic positions that would be supported in colleges which were able to at least partially fund the position.  These positions would also be partially funded by an endowment to be developed form the BCNGroup.

The Knowledge Sharing Foundation and the BCNGroup (with its unique Charter) would also be created and brought to some stature.

The purpose of these two institutions is to help knowledge science innovators understand the patent space around concepts that are brought to our attention, and to assist these individuals in filling for patent protections in the context of a knowledgeable assessment of the patent space and the innovation.

We are at a new beginning, each day.  We see the opportunity to build a better future together with others.
